hello!

first post in ages! :D

promos are finally over and now its PW time! things are like coming one after the other, we don't really have any rest time actually. this whole week my sleep time is all jumbled up, with only a few hours of sleep everyday cos of PW. :( but its ok it's ending real soon!

oh after promos we had 2 days of sabbats, which was really fun. but too short i must say. first day was pop vocals, which was really interesting and fun :D it was enjoyable listening to ppl sing (: but the individual singing part was scary though :/ 2nd day I had cooking and baking! quite tiring but fun! and got to eat nice food :D oh and there were 2 dogs running around the plce lah, which was super scary, sigh. and i got to drink koi! :D :D

anw, now its back to school, with return of scripts and lessons etc. this whole week has been really drama, with ups and downs. results part was the down, school in general was the up. (:
really really felt that i didn't perform up to standard, the feeling is really horrible. but i'll make use of the holidays to work harder (:
i shall console myslef with the thought that i usually don't perform well (like in sec 1 to 3, my results were so-so) but usually the last school year i'll be able to do ok (: (like in sec 4) of course this comes with alot alot of hard work though. ok so jiayou! its not the end of the world!

hmm recently i attended the H3 briefing, hmm don't think i can take it lah. and i don't want to risk my H2s, which are currently ahemmmm... yeah (: oh yeah and recently also attended the NEW scholarship briefing with jolene and celine. it sounds really interesting with the intership thing thing (: and we'll have to do a project and present apparently. i think it'd be good exposure. (: and the thing is that we'll get paid! (Y)

ohh and another thing! mdm lau is leaving already :( she is one teacher whom i really like alot, cos she is really sincere in her teaching and she treats every one of her student really very well. a super caring teacher too :D although she was only with us for a few months, i can safely say she has impacted my life ALOT, and actually i feel very guilty towards her for not performing up to standard for chem. :( i rmb in the beginning, when she first came to our class, everyone was (secretly) making fun of her, cos LAU and LAO (she has lots of white hair cos she refuses to dye it haha) thinking bad i feel so mean :( anw hope she is happy and healthy always! :D

hellooooo! june holidays are here! :D just came back from malaysia family gathering a few days back! It was a really short stay but nevertheless fun (: oh and there's mentoring camp coming up tmr! and campfire up on thurs! really hope it wouldn't rain cos it'll be such a waste :O really pray hard! amanda and i and our comm planned so hard for this campfire, hope that everything'll turn out fine! anw i'm quite looking forward to the camp tmr and hope everything turms out fine! go THE INCREDIBLES :D!

oh and there'll also be health and fitness courses the whole of next week (well, almost). quite looking forward to it, hope it'll be fun :D and quite a lot of YLEP stuff to do too, plannings and meetings etc, but i think it'll all be very fruitful and worthwhile :D

but other than these i guess my holiday will be spent mostly on schoolwork. i really need to work really hard this holiday, cannot afford to slack :O i promised to turn over a new leaf! HAHA sounds abit weird but anws, jiayou!

suddenly had this inclination to blog again after 2 months although i seriously should be sleeping right now cos i have to wake up in like 6 hours time to go for a CCA CIP at woodlands. but anyway!

life has been tranquil (?) haha good lah (: although it can get really stressful sometimes with deadlines here and there, as well as projects and tutorials, AND PW. and my many other commitments like 2 ccas and mentoring, it is still quite manageable. (: hope to maintain status quo! or become even better!

had a few tests so far and i realized that tests and exams are scary. I'm seriously scared for my chem man! D: and i realized the importance of consistent revision and doing of homework. seriously.

anw just now we had GP tuition with the rest. i don't know but i feel happy going for gp tuition, although i don't really like gp, cos it's not my forte. but maybe its the blissful feeling of meeting up with old classmates and teachers (: the feeling of familiarity perhaps? and the happiness you get from the random chats (: haha :D

OH and on friday i had 5 items and 2.4km all on the same day! and i'm happy with my results yay GOLD :D but hwachong is seriously slack in their assessment compared to ny. like seriously! but anyways yay for GOLD :D

mentoring so far has been fun but sometimes very tiring cos it's hard to convince the kids to do their work when they are like so "I DON'T WANT. FULL STOP" kind of attitude. aiyah but i think i sort of get the hang of how to deal with them already so it's better now, and my mentees are cute :D ok well, not all lah but most of them are cute (: oh and the weekly tutoring sessions too at kr, which is much more relaxing than mentoring since it just involves sitting comfortably in an aircon room teaching math. haha!

oh and health and fitness is quite fun, got to know some awesome ppl and i love the activities we do too, so i guess it's going great :D and we're having a cca tee yay :D thanks haidee and yilin! (:

this coming monday going to rubin's house to do econs ILP hope we can finish and all will be well. (:

and yeah my weekly vocal lessons, yes i'm still taking haha (: it's been quite fun and oh yah my evaluation aka exam in front of an audience was indeed memorable :D actually i think it's quite fun and not that scary. (: and well i passed and yay i'm now off to stage 2! now learning about song interpretation and how to sing with expression, which is sometimes quite dry cos it's somewhat like LA lessons where we interpret prose, but in this case its interpreting lyrics. haha but nevertheless it's fun lah :D and somewhat amusing!

finally the long awaited march hols break! :D have been waiting for it to come since lessons officially started. school has been really busy and i can feel the increased workload, now sec 4 seems like nothing. i guess life's like that. you'll have to experience something worse before you can finally appreciate what you have now. (:

anw! i got into YLEP :D and health and fitness.

this march hol also doesn't really seem like a hol (although i really appreciate this more than school) cos everyday i'm going out for one thing or another. like from mon to wed got project gcube thing (; it was fun but tiring. (: and thurs and friday i'm gonna be facil for another YLEP camp (disability challenge). hope it'll be fun though! :D then sat the usual GP tuition and vocal lessons on sunday. (: woah packed life i have. and not forgetting the pile of work to be done man.

ok gtg bathe now cos later have to go out for meet the ppl session thing, until 11pm leh :O

HAPPY NEW YEAR/CNY EVERYONEEE! :D actually this year's cny wasn't as exciting/fun/fruitful, and it was sad that we ran out of ppl to visit on the 2nd day. ended up doing tutorials at home. oh but the celebrations in school, selina's birthday karaoke after that and OG dinner/outing/stargazing was fun! <3

ok i've decided to take some time off to do a little bit of update. well life is getting busier and busier and more school-like. next week, stay back everyday after school for one thing or another. this weekend, pile of homework to clear. :(

anw in JC we now have the lecture-tutorial system and classroom-less system, which needs a little getting used to, cos i miss having a classroom of our own. and YAY i'll be going back to nanyang next week, like finally! :D

anw i think these 2 JC years will be a fufilling experience, amidst all the stress and work and all.

oh and ARES won fac shield, WHOO :D actually they shouldn't have announced it so early in the morning when everyone is like so dead and half-awake. or else we would have cheered louder. haha :D

must choose cca by monday :O i still don't know what to put. :(

helloooo everyone! orientation has officially ended, yah, sad i know :/ why is it so short!! haha to think that i initially thought orientation was too long and even dreaded it. aiyah but now i miss it :/ esp the days spent with OG cos it was super fun. :/ not that my class is bad, it's very fun too, but i think my class is scary cos made up of very very smart ppl. ohman stresss!! :3 ok but i shall convert this stress to motivation, MOTIVATION!! :D haha!

anyway, these few days will be lectures and alot of free time in between, really slack! and alot of fac dance practices! YAY ARES IS GOING TO WIN POP YEAH! :D i love our fac dance, it's super cool! :D like, really! like, seriously! :D although i'm a really bad dancer. really.

ok, and i still don't really know what cca to join. :O but i shall go try out health and fitness club this wed. and in case you are thinking what i'm thinking, NO, health and fitness club is not tuff(is it this spelling?) club. yep! we do yoga, cool stuff! :D aiyah and maybe i'll try YELP or mentoring club too haha (:

erm erm what else... oh i'm not going back to malaysia this CNY. staying in singapore! yay gambling hahaha! i love it lah! :D ok looking very forward to CNY! and going back to NY to see teachers too! i miss them loads man! :/ and i want to go out with 404-ers too, cos it's like been a long time since i last chatted with them! ahh i miss them! :/ cos nowadays it seems that we are doing everything in our CTs or OGs, and i hardly even get to see my sec 4 friends :/ let's go for kbox soon? haha! :D

2 days break! YAY :D

after spending one week in hwa chong, i realized that hwa chong, or maybe it's just the college side, is very small, not as big as i thought haha. (:

anw! i finally got my hc uniform yesterday! yay! not that i love it very much, just the exhilaration of getting a new set of uniform in place of my old holey ny one i guess! :D anw! after smtp test yesterday, yeeting kaiqing selina szeling and i went to beauty world to get our uniforms! SAW ADRAIN PANG AND CHENG SHU CHENG FILMING! they were like ng-ing alot of time cos from the time we went there to the time we went home they were still filming the same scene i think. wow it seems so tiring! anw, we went to the (spooky) toilet to try the uniforms and we realized yeeting looks like a zookeeper in the uniform HAHA! and selina looks like some liu2 ji2 xue2 jie3! and no i don't look like i'm from hwa chong primary (like there is such a thing) selina! :/ haiz, selina was like saying kaiqing and i look like we're from HC primary. HA HA HA. :3

anw, after that we went to mac to eat ice cream! yay yum yum mcflurry :D

oh back to the smtp test, wah it was horrible, but somewhat expected lah. since they're gonna choose some talented students, the qns cannot be that easy right... haiya but i'm leaving everything to fate now :D whee~ can get in good lor, cannot then nvm! whee~

orientation starting on thurs! can't wait for the o level ppl to come in, can see if there'll be anymore familiar faces! 2 more weeks to play then REAL WORK SETS IN. :( so must treasure it! (:

btw i just realized facebook is not going to charge the whatever fee. and to think i really believed it! :O

i realized it's very boring to stay at home with nothing to do. :/ btw yesterday cao lao shi (from nanyang) called me at my hp and told me to write a recommendation for ji lao shi for the most inspiring chinese teacher award. and just now as i was writing, i realize how nice my ny teachers are and i miss them! :( hc teachers don't seem as nice, (well i may be biased cos i only know them for like 1 week?) but they seem very fierce and stern and serious. :/ well maybe not all the teachers are like that, ahh, like the econs teacher! ok just be positive :)

school this past week has been rather slack and well, good :D i love the short school hours and the somewhat interesting activities they planned for us (: yesterday some random lady suddenly walked up to us and started asking us what we thought of the IP activities, luckily we all gave positive answers cos she later revealed she was like the DEAN who planned all the IP activities for us! was super shocked then cos she totally didn't look like it, i'm so sorry but she really looked like some random student's parent looking for her child or something because of her dressing, haha!

anw! this week has been briefings, math lectures, diagnostic tests etc. The english diagnostic test 2 we had yesterday was quite terrible i think cos it was like more than 1 option could be the possible answer, totally like the new south wales kind, ahh :/ but i thought the essay one was rather okay.

Oh yesterday we had some bio talk by 2 alumni members! was rather intersting, or at least more interesting than i thought it would be, mainly cos the speakers were were animated and thus, entertaining. :D they shared with us their expereinces in their fields of work and more importantly, to encourage us to take bio. and i was also quite inspired and motivated by them to take up a career in the field. :D yay a scientist? or some R&D person? but definitely not a doctor. cos i'm scared of blood and all other gross stuff. yes. (:

oh and let me talk about the canteen food! not that bad as what i heard from seniors, probably because they changed vendors? yah infact i quite like their food, zha jiang mian! :D

ok the weekends are here and time for a break! supposed to go out with eunice and minjie tmr but aiyah eunice suddenly got some workshop until 5 so now everything's still unfinalized. but hope to see them soon! :D ok i shall spend the weekend studying, or rather, browsing through science stuff!

oh and something really random, but i am looking forward to buying new school uniforms and new school tees! ahh :D probably because i'm sick and tired of my hole-y ny uniforms that make me look like i've been bitten by vampires.

hello! :D today was the first day of JC! erm, sort of better than expected cos the day ended really early, at 12pm! i guess life will be good until after chinese new year cos after that is when lessons really start. :/ anw! today i left home with my mum and siblings and reached ny bus stop at 6.45am, so super early i know. then met meihui and went to serene centre macs (to think we thought we were going to island creamery at 7 in the morning!) haha! then had mini class gathering there cum breakfast before going to school at 8am! then the day started off with deputy p's briefing and ENGLISH DIAGNOSTIC TEST! D: wrote an essay and i realized my handwriting's really horrible and wriggly and curly now. D: after that was break then we went to try the canteen food. portion super big, at least for me. :/ then went to tour the school a little before we went back to audi for math lecture on algebra. not too bad lah, cos it's all revision stuff. (: time passed super fast then it was time to go home already!

this one week is IP activities-- all quite slack one cos we get to go to school later than usual, abt 8 to 9am :D then it's all lectures/lessons and diagnostic tests! oh and there's gonna be some science forum too, quite cool! :D

eh btw i don't know what cca to join, seriously D: nvm, shall see again on cca exhibition day.

this holiday i decided to sign up for singing lessons cos i missed choir days, HAHA! but anw, the lessons so far have been quite fun. yesterday i had my 2nd vocal lesson! learnt new techniques such as projection and tuck techniques! and breathing techniques too. quite fun (: and next week we're going to start singing songs already, yay! I know i am supposed to start studying and preparing for JC but hmmm, i don't have the mood to do so, you see, i'm still in holiday mood :D ahh ok i'll try again tmr then. ok off to sleep, this post is rather rubbishy and ranty D:

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010! :D

wow! time passes real quickly and it's already 2010. and i'm going to be 17. that sounds so old :3 anw, i think 2009 has been a really great year, and i've grown alot as a person, i think. (: i'm quite satisfied with my 2009 actually and hopefully 2010 would be even better, though i'm not really looking forward to JC life ahh :/ let's recap some highlights of 09!

1. CCA!
cca this year is very much less hands-on and more of standing at the sidelines guiding juniors/ planning programmes etc. but it was great being a PL of hibiscus patrol! <3 things turned out better than i imagined and i'm proud of my patrol! :D especially the sec 1s, they totally surprised me as they were more chatty than i thought. :D yay! oh and another experience worth reminiscing abt is PGA! the experience really taught me alot of guiding skills and life skills too. it challenged my limits and encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone. yup, and i definitely do not regret going for it :D

2. 404! <3
Got to know the class better and made more friends this year as compared to last year! Had alot of fun as well with classmates! oh and the 16th dec kbox date with yeeting, selina, meihui, simin, shijie, xinyun was fun!! i wanna go again! :D and looking forward to elekert too! :D

Studies wise, i became more hardworking as well and i am quite happy with my results this year! :D yay :D

3. SMP!!
this year's smp was amazing, though we didn't really attain the results we wanted. but i'm already quite satisfied with what we have achieved (: from not getting a project allocated to us, to finally miraculously finding a mentor, to the completion of project, it was really amazing and AWESOME! working with wang qian was also super fun and funny! she's a really great partner! and i'll miss nanyang poly and the FOOD there! and the uncle there who sells fruit juice, and i'll always order banana milk from him, so often so that he remembers me now :D hahaha! and working with our mentors, Dr Richards and Dr Ng, it was a really great experience and they're so nice! oh not forgetting gwen, who always helps us, too! :D

4. Presenting to HJT!
Wow this should be one of the most hounourable moments of my life so far :D seeing and presenting to the president of PRC. not everybody gets that chance heh? :D preparing for the presentation with the 5 others + teachers was also super fun! yang lao shi is so nice! :D haha :D

5. GCP to new york and boston!
HAHHAA this trip was super fun and an eye opener. never thought that i would get the chance to travel to the US with my friends! Got to meet alot of new friends and know some of my friends better too (: yay! (refer to the previous post for more details)

6. Family trip since eons!
We haven't been travelling since 2 to 3 yrs ago after my father went for his operation! and i haven't been to segamat to visit my grandparents for 2 years! this time we went back to my grandparents' house for 2 days then another 3 days at A'famosa with apeh and family (: it's like a resort, with loads of stuff to do and try. very fun!! playing cards and board games in the villa with cousins and all was also fun! :D

i think that's about all!

ohh nono, how can i forget this part! My first ever working experience where I earned my own money! though it wasn't alot per se, it was a great expereince. I worked as a waitress btw, with shijie. it was a one night thing for some church's christmas function, and guess what! i met germaine there! :D haha anw, it was great fun too and i saw lots of stuff that happens behind the scenes, tsk! :D

ok that's all for now. 2 more weeks to school reopen :/ i don't want!! ohya still have to study for math quiz...

anw, hope that 2010 will be a great year ahead! i shall attempt to list out some resolutions although i'm not really a fan of new year resolutions :D

1. Be focused in everything i do, esp studies wise (:
2. Be more healthy! in terms of both eating habits and exercising habits.
3. Not spend unnecessary time on computer and tv (hmm this is gonna be quite hard!)
4. Better time management skills
5. Not sleep after 12 midnight!! :@
6. lastly, to be a better person in general.

edit:/ I realized that i actually set new year resolutions last year! let's see...

1. Be more self disciplined.
(hmm, in a sense, accomplished!)

2. Plan time properly.
(hmm i guess this one is not too bad, but can still be improved)

3. Learn how to work SMART.
(ehh... i'm not sure abt this.)

4. Find more time to do other stuff that I like.
(I guess this was ok, i managed to do quite alot last year!)

5. Watch less teevee (anw, xiao niang re is sad...)
(HAHAHA this is such a failure, i'm still addicted to tv :D)

6. Spend less time on computer. it's the ultimate time waster if you're not doing work.
(this is also a failure :O)

7. Spend less money.
(hmm i think this was ok :D)

8. Be more sociable.
(not too sure abt this, but i guess it was ok too? :D)

9. Be happier.
(yep yep!)

10.Be more decisive and stop worrying excessively.
(HAHA this is also another failure. let's just say that i am such a natural worry wart.)

11.Improve my humans and languages.
(ahh yes i did :D)

12.Be more alert about everything.

HELLO! i'm back from the US, erm new york and boston. :D wow i must say that this trip totally rocks although i really regret not buying more stuff, especially at the premium outlet D: Well, ok let me elab on the trip. It was super fun and this is my first time travelling to the west! :D we took a 22 hour flight there, which was not as bad as i thought it would be cos i spent alot of time sleeping/listening to music/watching shows. and i realized that i have lost touch with whatever movies are coming up/nice to watch. cos whenever kaiqing or whoever exclaims that a movie is nice, i'll be like huh, really ah :/ ok and in the end i even resorted to watching blues clues and dora the explorer haha!

anw, new york is super beautiful, especially at this time of the year (autumn-winter period) the trees are in all shades of colour, unlike singapore (we only have green, greener, greenest like we only have hot, hotter, hottest). the schools and universities there are also totally awesome lah! esp havard, brown and yale <3 i like the feel of the universities there. the buildings are giant and grand, even their dining hall is SUPER :D check facebook for pictures! but i'm not sure whether i want to study overseas cos i don't like leaving home for long periods of time O: anw, back to the trip. we also visited many "science-y" places like the sony wonder tech lab, new york hall of science, ammerican museum of natural history(the one they filmed night at the museum! :D) and manhattan school of math and science, where we got to know new friends! Ammericans are super friendly! :D OH and the cruise and visit to liberty island where we saw the statue of liberty!

rooming with yeeting and kaiqing was also very fun! i will miss the times we immitate yeeting's mum's "yeetingggg", yeeting rambling about what she regret not buying (this happens everytime), knocking on wang qian's door then running away, singing songs on the bus (and teaching yeeting how to sing long juan feng properly, which i don't think has suceeded yet...), eating 2 whole tubs of ben's and jerry's (it's super cheap there!), the cereal i eat every morning in the hotel etc... in short, I <3 NY! :D and i would definitely want to go back there again, maybe with family next time, then got more time and can buy more stuff.

After returning to Singapore, I've been jet lagging for the past few days but it's much better now. there was once i slept at 5am and woke up at 4pm. wow. :O i've also been enjoying the holidays so far, watching tv (channel 8 and 5 dramas) and using the comp. (: actually i feel very guilty cos it's like wasting my time away but i don't know what to do leh :/ i want to go source out some internship or work part time but i don't know where and when to start. :/ or maybe i should start reading JC stuff? haha i don't know D: i bet i'll end up procrastinating alot, as usual.

and i don't find anything wrong with watching channel 8 dramas!

HOLIDAYS are here whoo! :D but i've been going back to school everyday (YES EVERYDAY D: this week). life's busy, but good. :D and Os are over!

let's backtrack to guides farewell! thankyou HIBISCUS'09 for being such a wonderful patrol! and i really love the BIG card. it's pretty! i love you all too! <3 the farewell concert is not bad too! oh and the card/notes from the sec 1s and the gift from the sec 2s too:D

graduation day! surprisingly, i didn't feel that sad on the last day of sec 4 as compared to the last day of sec 2. i rmb on the last day of sec 2 the whole class was crying. mass crying session haha. maybe its cos we know we'll still be seeing one another very often especially since we still have o levels, grad night etc. but anw, graduation day was quite fun. took pictures around the school, level closure, got back souvenirs and report book etc.
level closure was the saddest part of the day cos some of the teachers' speeches were super moving. (: we also had farewell concert for ms yap. i love mrs claudine tan's item :D after school, went to island creamery (FOR THE FIRST TIME!) cos selina said that nanyang life is not complete without going there at least once. so we gathered all the so called "no-lifers" and headed there whoo! and i like the mudpie <3 yay! after that went to macs for ‘lunner’, then went back to school for grad ceremony. it was super super boring. ok i got nothing much to say for this. just that it was rather boring and it was hot stuck in the hall. :/

after grad day, we still had chinese lessons and HCL Os, which were erm, hopefully ok. :D and i still have to say that i like having exams in the hall :D

and after HCL Os, i still have to go to school everyday. ahh this is tiring but i hope everything will go smoothly and hope that it's worthwhile. :D (shall elab on this another day)

oh and finally, we had grad night yesterday! after going to school, headed to yijia's house to dress up + help make up! yay it was fun! and erm, i sort of learnt how to play bridge!(note: SORT OF) AND i finally won my first dai-dee this year(after losing so many rounds)! WHOO~ :D Anw, after that, yijia's mum drove us to hilton. overall it was not bad lah, quite fun, and food's not bad too :D just that there were too many dishes i cannot finish the last few. after that, got a lift home from june and her mum (: reached home and slept at 12+

then today i got up super early again to go to school. ahh sleep deprivation D:

AND I REALIZED that we are flying to US this coming monday, which is super fast leh :O SUPER FAST. but i'm looking forward to the trip (errrm but definitely not the flight cos its a super long 22 hours D:) ahh how i wish i have doraemon's ren yi men! then we can just skip the super long flight. i just hope i won't get motion sickness and throw up. :/

OH and looking forward to the K session after the trip with 404-ers and OH ele-kert too! :D OH and looking forward to tmr too. :D

hello! the exams are finally over i feel rather bored now that there's nothing to do! it's like suddenly life becomes sooo slack i'm a little not used to it haha :D but i guess it's better than studying like crazy everyday! yay :D now we have 5 days holiday before we get our papers back (: then chinese Os before everything is officially over! These few days have been rather fun! like the funfair last friday where our class did the haunted house. it was super last minute but we still managed to pull through, and that's what's so amazing about 404. :D anw had fun although i wasn't a ghost and i don't wish to be a ghost cos i'll most probably be the one being freaked out instead of me scaring people. haha yay! after that we had the red white thing but i was too tired by then to really participate in their whatever cheering sessions. and it was under the hot sun somemore! but had fun bullying selina with shijie, oops, or maybe say seeing shijie bully selina. haha :D then after that went for CCA for awhile then discussed heritage trail stuff with ms teng and peiling in the staff room, cool right :D overheard funny conversations by the humanities teachers too haha!

oh and national day celebrations was cool too :D ohman it is the first time since a very very long time since we really celebrated national day. missed community singing loads! i remember the primary school days where we sang our hearts out, carefree and happy, whoosh :D and there was one year where we even had the dance! they probably won't have community singing in JC anymore, and i'll miss community singing D:

and last sat we went for heritage trail trial run :D and i was a station master at FORT CANNING SPICE GARDEN and ended up feeding mosquitoes. it was seriously crazy lah D: and it was boring, but cherie was somewhat entertaining so it was a little better (: and i missed my last chance to participate in guide related trail activities :( AS A PARTICIPANT. but it's ok! oh oh oh and wannqin'a group got first! wah it must be my "lucky" curse man haha!

anyway now it's back to the study study mode cos EOYs is coming real real soon! anw block test this time was erm ok lah (at least for the subjects i have gotten back) (: but still got to work hard for EOYs cos it is afterall 50% D:

hi! blocks are coming real soon and i don't know what I'm feeling. Mixed feelings i guess. anticipation, nervousness, excitement? haha i don't know lah but i think there's still quite alot of revision to be done. :/

and my life feels very sad nowadays cos it's just revolving around studies :O now there's no more cca for us somemore! and i haven't watched teevee for quite awhile! but just bear for one week and things will be better (for a while).

oh and recently lots and lots of people are falling sick! like the PRC scholars in our class, all of them didn't come today cos they were sick or not feeling well. like wangqian who got quarrantined! and peishan coughed blood :O and yijia got stung by a bee in our class and her finger got all swollen but luckily it's better now :D

i don't want to fall sick! O: cos it's really horrible. :/

sigh!

oh and today we stayed back to ask mrs chua questions. she's like really really very nice lah :D when you don't know her, you'll feel like she's really strict and fierce but after you get to know her a little better, she's actually a super nice teacher! :D

Life's been busy as usual. nothing really interesting nowadays. :( lots of work as usual. lots and lots. blocks tests coming right up. ahh :O

oh ok last weekend yuhe cao and i met up with our smp mentor last year for lunch at orchard. and i realized i haven't talked to them for a very long time already. it's like everybody's so busy with things now :/ actually i haven't been talking much to my sec 2 classmates :O ohno :/ ok i shall make an effort to go for 206 class lunch every wed if i remember :D

OHHH wait i need to mention a very happy thing! TODAY IS A HAPPY DAY! EVERYTHING SEEMED SO PERFECT! :DDDDD today was on the whole a very slack day in school. (: today we had chem quiz, which was easy whee (: and we watched dead man walking during SIL :D and mrs tan allowed us 10 min free time during bio to do our work! (:(: mdm leon let us off 5 mins earlier for lunch and we didn't really have to queue for our food! :D and most importantly, SMP WAS PERFECT WITH FABULOUS RESULTS! ohman wangqian and i went totally crazy and we were like shaking each other's hands vigorously to congratulate us on our results! yeah man! :D

haha ok i realized this post is like alternating between high and low. like an A.C. Circuit. HAHA. :D

Today's father's day! me, my sis and bro made a card last night (super last minute i know :X) for my father and i think he liked it so yay :D and just now we went to the Italian restaurant near my house for dinner. The dinner was super ex but i loved the dessert! hot chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream <3 aww! today was a happy day :D

but tmr onwards it's homework choinging! I really really hope MOE will extend the hols one more week! AHH :/ haha it's quite mean lah cos extention means more serious H1N1. but aiyah... i don't feel like going back to school yet. i don't feel rested enough yet. this whole hols, i only get to stay home for 5 pathetic days (on top of the weekends). ohman today i had a funny dream! In the morning I woke up in great pain cos my stomach was hurting like crazy so i went to the toilet to relieve myself. after that my face was all pale due to the extreme, acute pain, so i went back to sleep. then after that i dreamt that i got malaria and i was almost dying D: i remembered clearly showing the big red juicy mosquito bite that i had on my wrist to my maid, and i rmbed her look of shock. it seemed so real that when i woke up i got a shock. haha don't know what's wrong with me :/

that aside! I STILL GOT TONS OF HW TO DO HOW!? Today when i went for smp, wangqian happily told me she has finished all her homework except one. and she was still watching movies and dramas and what not. ohman i lack this kind of self discipline to complete my homework lah. AHH i'm so angry D: and it's also because i've been going out everyday. erm not to play. either doing smp or some other project like IH Seminar presentation, which is frustrating as well D:

But luckily smp has been quite fun! ahh i think that's one of the most enjoyable thing that happened this holiday? esp with nice mentors and nice team mates. our mentor treated us to a 3 course lunch last week! which was super filling and super expensive too. like almost $20 for lunch per person!? haha anw, 3 weeks of smp, full time attachment, i don't know how i'm going to finish my work but i'll try super hard to. (:

btw the ultimatum is getting exciting haha! (: yay i love that show <3 i fancy no bof, i love singapore dramas haha :D

anw! a shoutout to the 6 PGAers: JIAYOU FOR P&O CAMP! it really ain't easy, esp after going for xinyun;s trial run today in school. it's quite crazy in fact. she said she hasn't slept for 27 hours already. which is seriously crazy! but i know you all can do it, so jiayou! <3

IT'S THE HOLS! but actually i'm not that happy about it cos there's thousands of things to do for the month. A whole list of homework, including 4 zuowens and 9 ti gangs and more... ahh and 2 weeks gone to smp attachment. aiyah just have to maintain a positive attitude. :D

anw sabbats this year were not as fun as the past 3 years.ASEAN apprenticeship was rather boring as it was lectures and lectures. the only day i really enjoyed was day we got to play the gamelan instruments! they're so cool lah! it's like how 1 instrument doesn't produce a very fantastic sounding melody, but when the whole essemble comes together, the effect is amazing! :D and it can be used to play peranakan music, like the little nyonya theme song! :D it's cool!

and project H20 was overall more fun than expected and the field trip to marina barrage was rather interesting! and how we learnt how to throw the pail into the ecopond on the very first day, counting bioindicators around the school, and also the trip to sungei buloh! where we saw lots of interesting creatures and whatnot. Oh and the computer game session on the 2nd day where our group got 3rd! too bad sarah wasn't around for all 5 days! :/

well our last sabbatical in NY is over just like that.haiz. :/

anw! today we had talentime and the performances by the juniors were cool lah, even though we didn't get to perform our item. it's our last CCA session and it was a good closure for the june hols too. i think everyone enjoyed ourselves, which was good :D

oh and i got gold for napfa which was something i've missed for the past 2 years. haha yay maybe its due to the pioneer test training, i've developed muscles! i did 20 IPUs! and SBJ was AMAZING too. usually i'll only jump like 150 plus, but this year i jumped 177cm. yah and i was super happy lah. :D yay haha ok =)

I feel soo relieved this weekend sunday (: finally the feeling of liberation! we've finished the pga interview yesterday and LA portfolio is more or less done. i wrote my personal statement yesterday! a little bit more to go! for the interview, although the guiding knowledge part was quite bad, but the singapore knowledge one was quite ok and the interviewers were nice! they calmed me down when i was feeling jittery. then after that i was okay! (: actually i expected to go in the last cos it's according to name. then they suddenly decided to start from both the front and back so i was the first to go for the interview :O i was shocked,went inside the room, thinking that it was the singapore knowelge interview, then i felt weird cos i was thinking how come the interviewer is asking me about guiding stuff. i even wanted to ask the interviwer whether i went to the wrong room but luckily decided not to cos it'll be embarrassing :3 yah but whatever lah, the point is that it's over! and being the first few to go for the interview is not that bad after all cos the interviewers will still be fresh and happy! :D

ohno i just realized there's still integration ws 1 and 2. :O aiyah but still, i feel happy!

and later we're going to watch some musical/concert by buddhist fellowship, at jubilee hall! where we performed passage of time last year! (: yay i love the songs lah!looking forward to it!

HAPPY MOTHERS' DAY to all mothers in the world! :D and to my mummy too! (:

this weekend has been totally SLACK and i'm feeling super guilty. you know that kind of feeling! there's like piles of work to do even after blocks. teachers pile us with loads of work thinking that its a LONG weekend. but as june says, this long weekend is only 24 hours more and, where's our rest time D:

ahh procrastination should be added as one of the greatest sins on earth :/

anw yesterday was vesak day so we went to the temple, which was super crowded, to pray. i bathed the baby buddha! after we returned home, one whole afternoon was gone. and then when i came back i didn't feel like studying/doing work so i ended up baking tuna quiche! and it was nice! (: yay i love baking! i actually also wanted to bake cheesecake too but no time :( ohwells another time then.

then today was also spent watching teevee/ playing restaurant city/ word challenge and whatnots. i woke up at 6.45 just to watch the 7am channel 8 drama that was repeating. (: in the afternoon i went online and promised to only play for AWHILE only but, whoosh! and it's now 9 plus and i only completed like a fraction of my work. ahhh :O

BIO AND CHEM ARE OVER! whoo i feel sort of relieved cos it's like a big load off my mind after mugging like crazy for bio! but thankfully it was still quite ok! (: hopefully chem will not be that bad. still got math and physics to go!

and we got back our chinese. it was BAD. :/ ahhgh.

anw on a happier note! just now i was watching the school nationals challenge! mainly wanted to watch emily and our class on teevee lah (: and emily is like super pro based on their description and all. like what mentally strong in and out of court :O haha (: and saw quite a few classmates on tv too! like xinyun, yeeting, fiona, cheryl. :D it's quite amusing lah. (: cos it's like you hardly get to see people you know on tv!

haha ok need to get back to serious work now! IH essay is like over the limit but i don't care already! i spent like don't know how long editing and shortening it but it's still 1000 words! :O i'm going to do my math now byebye! (:

haven't been updating since forever lah. anw my life currently is bustling with a furry of activities ahaha (: and yah busy, but happy (: i realize my schedule is super packed and i have no free day at all. monday have smp attachment, which is always very fun cos there's wangqian to crap and gossip with! tues there's plc. wednesday there's pioneer training (but not anymore!) and chinese tuition. thurs there's chem olympiad. friday there's cca. sat usually have to go back to school for some stuffs. sun have piano lesson is homework day! wah really wonder how i pull through the weeks, considering the numerous quizzes and piles of homework.

anw! we went for our pioneer test and yay everyone passed! and the test was much much better than expected! :D yay to everyone <3 i think i've developed muscles after training (: and napfa IPU should be ok! but i'm still very doubtful whether i'll pass 2.4 haha :/

oh let me talk about the t&f training last thurs! i burnt my eyebrows and eyelashes! as in not really BURNT per se, but it sort of became friggly... i think it's due to the heat! and now my eyelash has the curl at the end of it, and the effect is like mascara on! haha amusing ._.

oh and pre pga training has been really worthwhile i think. like the homemakers's badge and the pioneer badge. really learnt alot from them. i don't think i'll even bother about these kinds of stuff if i didn't join. yup so no regrets actually (:

oh and i gotta hurry up with my revision for blocks! math and sciences. i can do it(: actually don't you think exams are exciting! anw jiayou for upcoming blocks everyone! (oh i'll have to miss star awards cos it's one day before chem blks ahh :( )

ok no more procrastination! and i must stay off the computer cos it's the ultimate time waster when you're not doing homework! i feel guilty for slacking so much and playing restaurant city!

Realized that I haven't been posting for quite a while! actually i'm super busy nowadays and hardly even have time to watch my beloved channel 8 dramas anymore :/ anyway! graces camp(erm actually that was quite long ago too) was a blast and super fun! esp with roomies and connected roomies! haha and selina's non stop singing and how it never fails to irritate carol! watching teevee with szeling, crapping with shijie, yijia and yeeting and all and all the other nonsense! shall not bother to upload photos here cos it'll take forever. can see facebook! i'll miss graces, i'll miss sec 4 life, and i'll definitely miss nanyang when i go over to JC next year :/

anw the march hols are here but it doesn't feel holiday-ish at all. there's like mountain piles of work to do everyday!

Just came back from LTC. I just plopped on my bed the minute i came back and haven't bathed till now (it's 10pm now D:). I must say i learnt alot from this camp. though it was stressful planning campfire but we still pulled through with the help of batchmates! ahh (: shall not go into the details of the camp but it was definitely a memorable one cos in this camp we now go back as seniors cum organisers, not so much as campers anymore. the feeling is different :/ oh and we slept in canvas tents! actually it's quite nice sleeping in canvas! :D

yah anw backtrack to CCA last friday. It was... ok (: had topo instead of outdoor cooking due to wet weather. actually i was quite looking forward to outdoor cooking! had gadget comp discussion with patrol. and my juniors are like... fun! alot of sec 1s are usually super quiet during such discussions but luckily and thankfully my sec 1s are quite proactive and clarice is super funny please! :D and sarah is cool! but must get to know her more cos haven't really had time to really interact with her yet... (: and rachel is super smart! you know she is the top in sec 1 level based on PSLE results! yah so as you can guess, our gadget comp discussion was very intellectual as well, with the random throw-ins of physics theories like stability and stuff. fun discussion! :D jiayou sec 2s jiachee and peixuan, with the proposal! (: and topo was quite ok too, the juniors learn very fast! (: yay! i love my patrol! <3

ok now i have to worry about my pile of homework and studying for blocks. 5 R&Rs! D:

Today we had pioneer badge training. wah whole body turning jelly already and it's seriously tiring. it's been such a long time since I have had such "extensive workout". I think I sweat alot alot today. But training was more fun than I had expected. (: Did turfing and firelighting, ladder and e-shelter today. I learned alot of new stuff and how to do things faster etc... yah..., it was fun!(: Initially I contemplated alot regarding whether to go for it, but I guess what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger so, yah! :D

Oh and i missed cca on friday due to smp talk :/ i actually wanted to attend cca cos it's been quite a long time since I've done gadgets! :O But the smp talk was ok lah, and after that I went with wangqian to walk around looking at the exhibits and I realized science center changed alot since when I last went there; and changed alot since primary school days. As I walk around science center, it reminds me of the many many primary school field trips there last time. To think that 4 years have passed...

Oh and the long awaited week 9! it's gonna be super slack with career conference on monday and tuesday, then graces camp from wed to fri! yay can't wait! <3

currently I'm feeling very studious and a great urge to accomplish alot of things, so i shall make use of this gan jue to go do some productive work now!

oh and i THINK i've decided to go for chem olympiad. i don't know if i'm stressing myself out with too many commitments but i think i'm going to give it a try, nevertheless. :D

Hello! I must talk about my trip to selina's house and the horrifying encounter with her dog! ohmy it was seriously scary.

My first encounter with the dog was when I first entered her house. The dog looked super scary and it pounced on shijie. I didn't dare enter the house at first, but then yijia "protected" me from the dog, and I was covering myself all the way with the cardboard I was holding, then I finally managed to enter her house safely. Then we went up to her room to start the model, and found rabbits and hamsters in her room. her house is seriously like a zoo. the hamsters were cute but i didn't dare touch them too. haha it's my problem lah, i'm just afraid of animals, but i'm ok with insects though (:

ok ok back to the dog! my next encounter with the dog was during lunch time. the dog was like waiting at the end of the staircase, looking very scary as usual. I didn't dare move ok, and finally selina managed to get her dog move away then I quickly made my way to the kitchen. THAT WASN'T THE END YET. The dog went to the kitchen, where we were supposed to have lunch. I was like :O, and I actually contemplated skipping lunch because of the dog, but yeeting and the rest were telling me I shouldn't skip lunch. I quickly jumped onto one of the chairs in the dining room, hoping that the dog will keep away from me. I don't know how the rest actually manage to go so near the dog and play with the dog man! :O The whole lunch was spent "ti xin diao dan"-ing. Cos whenever the dog came near me, I'll start becoming hysterical and grab yeeting for help. haha now thinking back on it, it was embarrassing! somemore, selina's mother was present then. :/ arrgh.

The final encounter was when we were going home. Throughout the whole time, yijia and yeeting would go down to help check on the status of the dog, to see whether it was asleep or awake, so that we can sneak out quietly while she's asleep. But aiyah, the dog awoke while we were going down the stairs! and i was once again :O Luckily yeeting and yijia managed to lure the dog away for me so that I can "escape". haha thankyou! <3

Then when we were finally out of the house, and I thought I would see the dog no more, I realized that I left my file in the room and forgot to take it with me! I was super scared at the thought of entering the house again, but luckily yeeting volunteered to help me take it, and I was like super relived. thankyou yeeting you saved my life! :D

AHH the horrors of dogs. Actually it's my own personal problem. I got a phobia of dogs after being chased by one when I was younger. :/

what a traumatizing experience! :O

The past 2 weeks have been crazy. to put it simply, it was a mad rush cos we were rushing all kinds of SIAs, IH, LA and chinese. Ahh the horrible memories. But thank god they are all over now. and i feel much more relieved yay! (:

anw, cca has been mainly footdrill cos thinking day parade is coming up. tiring but still... feeling of accomplishment when you hear a solid bang still overpowers everything. (:

ANW! tmr, (wait, in fact, it's today cos it's past 12 midnight already) we are going to selina's house to do chinese SIA presentation stuffs! I have heard horror stories about her big "fedex" dog from yidi and sze ling, and i'm super scared of dogs please. :/ ohhh the horror. :O anw, shijie said want to go shopping for graces stuff tmr after the meeting. (: haha btw i think graces camp is going to be fun and i am quite looking forward to it! and i think 3 days 2 nights is like too short leh :/ haha!

oh and today my mother asked me and my sister to go shopping with her for new year goodies at bukit panjang and sheng siong. she just wanted me to go so that i can use my IC to redeem one more vintage flask (those that they are giving out at bpp)... haha my mother is forever so last minute with these kind of things. and sheng siong was super crowded even at 10pm on a monday night. incredible.

and i missed campus superstar to go shopping with my mother :/

Hello first day of school was pretty much okay, cos it was very slack with all the PCCG lessons and lectures.

I decided to do some reflections about the year 2008 and see how i can improve further this year. 2008 was a great year, with lots of ups and downs. Time was tight, more commitments, more responsibility, more homework. And i guessed I procrastinated alot last year and revisions were mostly last minute. Really need to improve on this. It's like been since a long time ago that I wanted to improve on this, but it was only "zhi shang tan bing", you know. Yeah. This year is an important year, so I must really keep my deed. Also need to learn how to juggle my time better. and not spend so much time watching teevee, although i know I'm a super tv addict haha.

ahh to sum it up, alot of improvements need to be made. Hope that next year when I reflect back on 2009, I will feel happy and at ease with myself. (:

HELLO i'm here to revive my dead blog (:

anyway, these few days have been boring. recently i went out with my siblings to watch bolt 3D! it's super cool 3D, and the story's nice too (: i like bolt when he's young, cos he's super cute! :D and the show's touching (: aww.

oh and our family had early Christmas celebration last sat (20th dec). yay received really nice presents! <3 but still hoping for more heehee (:

school's starting really soon, less than 2 weeks time. and i'm still left with unfinished work! Ahh this is desperate! O; i MUST finish all of them by this week. tmr we're meeting up at shijie's house to do chinese SIA report, and hopefully, do some homework too =) oh and i still remember the jurassic park movie we watched the last time we went to shijie's house! it's super exciting cos you never know when the dinosaurs are going to appear. then we were all screaming away haha!

oh and this friday my mother promised to bring us to escape theme park. yay it's been quite a long time since i've been there, so i'm quite looking forward to it whee =D

anw, these few days have been very boring at home. :/ and i've been thinking quite alot. and i realized alot has changed. many people have changed. things do change. change is inevitable. and we should always learn to embrace changes in our lives. this way, we'll be happier. (:

hello! back from camp! i think that this camp was great, and more bonds were forged throughout this camp. many things happened, i've learnt alot alot. really.

thankyou batchmates for making this camp so wonderful. we've worked together very well, and we pulled through successfully. (: this is the start of our journey, we've alot to learn, alot to do, and we have a long way to go. hope 2009 will be a better year for NYGG. (: woosh!

hello woohoo i'm back from shanghai!(actually a week ago) I must say this trip was really fun, thanks to our shi san group and yang lao shi! they're a really fun and nice group of people <3 and now i kind of miss this whole trip. All the sightseeing, shopping, lessons, and also the night gambling dens and crapping sessions wahaha! =D oh and i spent almost all my money, which amounts to about 1600RMB. i can't believe i spent so much! :/

I'm really glad I was in this group cos the people are really, wow. (: and I really made alot of new friends during this trip. and realized alot about some people. this trip has taught me alot and it's definitely a memorable one, i'll miss shanghai loads as well as the "shi san bao bei mens", as what yanglaoshi always calls us!

Anyways, now I'm back in Singapore which means a whole load of stuff to do. Haven't really started on any homework yet. probably a little probability only :/ argh.

These few days (and i believe all the way till 6th dec), we've been busy with lots of guide stuff since camp is coming right up. going back to school almost everyday to clean up guides room/ pack logistics/ pre-camp training/ do camp stuffs and proposals. It's tiring no doubt but somewhat fun too, maybe because of the people. (: yesterday we had pre-camp training and our dear internet only had 2 sec 1s (melissa and amelia) to do OCC. Despite the fact, I think they were well prepared and, commendable attitude! and they are so cute, esp melissa haha! oh and realized that it was amelia's birthday yesterday, nvm i shall wish her on friday if I rmb! (:

I'm actually quite looking forward to camp this year, surprisingly, cos i think i'm supposed to feel tired and worn out from all the preparations, but somehow I have a feeling that this camp is going to be great <3

school has ended and we've gotten back our results! erm erm not bad lah but still can be better! i aim for msg less than 1.5 next year wahaha! =) and we're all gonna be sec 4 next year already, which is so SUPER FAST! i still rmb that time when we were sec 1, the vice principal was telling us that we were the youngest in the school, not the "big sisters" that we were when we were in P6. haiz, time really flies.

okay okay back to global classroom programme, i'm ALMOST done with packing. just have to rmb to put some things into my luggage and i'm done whee~ and it's seriously the longest time i'll be away from home and in shanghai somemore... i'll miss home loads! hope i won't freeze to death there, hah but at least it's better than bejing (: okies, that's all bye everyone!

had farewell yesterday. saddening. and i can't believe i actually cried. i tried hard to control myself but then... even though i'm not that close to all the sec 4s, it's still sad to know that they'll be leaving and that we're all on our own now. and we didn't even take patrol photo D; hopefully we'll find time to have some patrol outing yeah (: will definitely miss them and oriole 08 =(

anyway, on a brighter note, we had interclass games yesterday! ohmy 304 was really good; so proud of them! zoe, lydia, peishan, charlotte, congzhi were really pro and i admire their fighting spirit. even though they eventually lost to 309, we're all still very proud of them! =D plate division was not bad too =) in any case, i believe 304 definitely gave our best shot, and that's enough (:

here's something i typed out quite long ago but forgot to post!:

we did chinese SIA proposal on friday! though the meeting itself was rather slack and we were crapping ALOT but i'm glad we finished to get things done afterall! after that, shijie, yeeting, yijia, xinyun and I went J8 to zou zou cos it's really boring to stay at home everyday! nothing to do haha! so we went arcade! it's been such a long time since I went arcade! actually we wanted to go watch movie but then there were no nice movies screening, yep. and i spent only $2 there haha! but people like yijia spent $10+ o.0 and it was rather fun. like playing those racing games, basketball and stuff. and yijia wasted $3 trying to pick stuff toys with the giant claws hah.

saturday we had guides training. tiring but learnt quite alot, as in it was a good refresher session.

oh and sunday, yuhe, caoyun and i baked cookies for mr helmut! haha it was rather fun! and we had fun with the moulds (: and caoyun is really pro at baking but she simply refuses to try her own creations hah.

then monday we went to visit mr helmut and we gave him our prezzies (: and he treated us to some cheesecake and iced coffee which was hmm, quite nice (: after that went out with my sis and har to buy some stuff and eat my yami yoghurt!

these few days have been returning and checking of results. so far so good haha, as in, i'm quite happy with my results, maybe with the slight exception of bio :/ and tmr's math and chinese. hope they won't fail me too :/ oh and today we watched tuesdays with morrie for the 2nd time! it's still as nice, still as meaningful as when ms chia first showed us (: oh and today suyinggg, meishan and i went to buy farewell gifts for sec 4s! and we exceeded budget but NEVERMIND! ;D haha just hope that they will like it! and i ate my beloved yami yoghurt again today! (: and today's outing was super retarded haha! :D shall not elab!

hello ;DD i realized that i haven't been updating since eons ago! almost 1 month! haha okay so here's a quick quick update before i jump into bed! (hahaha tmr there's no school!) okay exams were okay and the last paper coming up on wednesday! YAY ohmy i'm excited! and exams in the hall is OMG, FUN (: or at least more interesting than in the classroom. at first i thought it would be super stressful but actually it isn't that stressful (: and i'm looking forward to the returning of scripts! (: cos its EXCITING even if i don't do well.

can't wait till this wednesday cos there'll be so much i can do then.like watch teeeveeee ohmy! hello! this is an attempt to post WITHOUT smileys at all okay, since caoyun and some others complain my blog posts' too smiley and happy. well ok haha let's start!

anw, this week was fun! (insert smiley) don't know why, but i have the impression that this week was rather fun! haha and laughing with tablemates was fun! (insert smiley) ohman they're really retarded funny! esp wangdousha! and yeeting's funny layghter! and her funny logic about haojiqi + wanghoudou = wangdousha! (insert double smiley) haha!

oh and I had the dreaded vaccination on thursday! (insert gasping smiley) can't believe I actually managed to survive it lah, i thought i was going to cry haha!

today we had youth science conference thingthing! the opening ceremony was COLD and BORING. mostly. there were some interesting parts though. like the presentation by the raffles girl. ohman i think she's super pro! she did the project all by herself! and it was well done! I think nanyang did well too! (insert smiley) haha! anw, after that was reception (caoyun's fav part), but most of the food were all gone by the time it was our turn to get the food... after reception we just stood around our poster, talked to our mentor (he's retiring soon! -- as in from this job). then gossip session with dileen yuhe zitian! ohman how do they know so much ba gua? i was just like WOWing all they way at their ba guas.time for me to update myself. haha! after the whole convention, caoyun, yuhe, zitian, dileen and i went to west mall to eat korean ice cream cos cao got that card thing. i realised that i've always been eating greentea and i didn't try the other flavours, which are also very nice. like the blueberry and herb one! (insert smiley)

haha this post is retarded la, shall go do some productive work now before my relatives all come for dinner later, and i'll probably be playing.

hello! these few days have been busy ;O
anw, thankyou all who wished me happy birthday <3 i really appreciate it yeah! (:

i'm feeling sad i missed teachers' day celebration all because of a piano exam (which i'm quite sure i'm going to fail for the 2nd time :O)! and i missed going back to south view! ahhh my sister told me things there changed ALOT and i actually wanted to go back to have a look :/

oh anyways, west div heritage trail yesterday! xinyi was soo sweet <3 she sent us an sms to wish us good luck, so nice of her! anw, i think it went relatively well, just that we (I/Cs) made some blunders =( well, we just have to learn from our mistakes (: oh and ms teng says she has higher expectations of whoever is I/C for the next wide game we plan, ooh so good luck to whoever that is. (:

anw holidays are here, but it seriously doesn't feel like a holiday at all. I have to go back to school practically everyday :/ where's my time for revision man =(
monday's the only day i'm "free", but still there's tuition :O

ohmy ji lao shi is like SUPER nice la! during yesterday's chinese lesson, she actually allowed us to watch lijiawei's match against zhangyining in the canteen! but in the end some teacher questioned us about why we were in the canteen during lesson time, then we went back to the classroom, as we didn't want to get ji lao shi into trouble. HAHA ;D anw, in the end we resorted to just logging onto the olympic website and just watch the scores jump. -.- most people were screaming. and ji lao shi was telling us to not to hold high hopes. and of course zhangyining won. anw the rest of the lesson was spent watching gua sha! =DD watched the 1st part for the 2nd time now, and i still think it's nice! (:

oh and yesterday's SIL was super funny too! it was sabo-ing session! OHMY i totally laughed like i have never laughed before lah! =D

oh and yesterday we also had teachers'day celebration for guiders (: and it was fun too (: esp the balloon bursting session after cca <3 ohman FUN.

Heritage trail trial today! ;D

thankyou everyone who contributed to its erm success?! =D (even though there are still lots of room for improvements)
i was basically walking around chasing after teams to pass them their bread and walking from station to station to pass them their refreshments, together with peiling, and no doubt it was tiring. but i had fun (: and i enjoyed it, after all it's something erm "major" we planned as a batch, and also a collaborated project with cck guides(: and the cck guides are really nice and friendly haha :D

anw, after heritage trail, batchmates went to coro prince's to have lunch! and i can't finish my food as usual hah =( after that, went back to school to make teachers' day cards for guiders. IT'S REALLY PRETTY! ;DD and the whole session was crazy and funny (: oh and rachel showed me her collection of doraemon family! haha it was cute =) esp those with the 12 zodiac animal outfits!

yay today was a nice day (:

but the thought of all the homework to be done makes me really worried-- if i can finish all of them by tmr :O well, i would just have to prioritize sighs.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE! ;D

yesterday was connect singapore! wasn't really that successful but nonetheless, fun and funny! haha our class was like bowing 90 degrees to whoever that walked by, and the people's expressions were super funny! they must be thinking what a weird bunch we are huh. haha =D oh and yeeting got interviewed by the press! HAHA it was funny! selina said it must be her blue aussie cap she was wearing that caught attention. HAH! ;D anw, after the connect singapore thing, went out with batchmates to toa payoh hub to have lunch, then went back to school for PLC, which lasted up till 7pm! wow! it's like the longest ever. haha =D anw, after that went home to my tveee! watched 7pm xin hua duo duo kai and olympics opening (abit of it cos i thought it was a little boring after awhile) haha yeah (:

today! watched alot of olympic matches, and i realized that it is super entertaining and exciting watching these olympic matches! like really. since i was born, i've never experienced the immense pleasure of watching sporting games or whatever. maybe it's because of the truckloads of pre-olympic exposure haha =D

oh and buddy patrol outing this coming monday. not sure whether it's still on... cos so far, only 4 people from my patrol can make it, yeah quite pathetic huh.

ok i've made a resolution to start studying for EOYs soon. cos i don't want history repeating itself. i don't want anymore failures. and studying can be fun, yeah xD

I'VE CHANGED BLOGSKIN to something more bright and bling bling! haha ;D
ok anw, yesterday was outdoor cooking cca session! it was a mad rush, and i was sweating from all the running abouts to prepare the stuffs hah =) anw, the session went pretty well, and we were able to stay within our time frame yay (: and it was quite interesting looking at things from a different perspective this time (: anw, after debrief, lingxin and i went to keep all the stuffies, and we actually managed to finish it quite fast (: and i realized she is like little red riding hood! esp when she carries the basket in that girly way! =D then after that we had plastic bag folding competition to see who folds the nicest! then chinwen joined in! haha =) and june and sarah were the judges (: and I WON yahaha!! my triangular shaped plastic bags were undoubtly the nicest but lingxin refuses to admit! anw, after keeping the plastic bags and other whatnots in the guide room, went home with chinwen, lingxin, sarah. then watched tv (7 and 9pm shows!! ohman 9pm show was last episode!), lazed around abit, did a little work...

anw, life after block tests has been relatively ok... and we've changed seating arrangements and positions! haha i think the sitting arrangement is rather nice and warm and cosy, but it's quite hard on the necks of some ppl have to constantly turn around to take down notes... yep ><

yesterday we had our chinese SIA presentation, haha it was crazy la! it must have been one of the most ma fan presentations i've ever done. the hours spent making the jiao zi, the time spent discussing ways to store the cooked dumpling so that they will not go bad before our presentation, all the rushing in the kitchen during recess to heat up the dumplings. yep, actually thinking back on it, it's actually quite fun (: and ji lao shi was really nice to help us store the jiao zi-s in the staffroom <3

and block tests papers! we haven't received any of our papers! D; i want to get them back D; other classes have all gotten back their papers. and we will only receive our math papers next monday. argh. =( and i have a feeling we're gonna get back our chinese papers tmr. hope i do OK (:

whee~ blocks are like finally over! (: even though i may find it erm (exciting), it's still a load off my mind now that it's over, so, phew! (: i guess it was generally ok. just that for LA, i didn't really know what i was writing, and for math i left 1 qn blank! D; and bsp was quite erm badly done too cos it was a MAD RUSH. 2 essays and 3 sbq in 1.5 hours and in chinese some more. haha ya but i'm really glad it's over though (: and actually these 4 days have been rather fast moving and time seems to past really quickly, and that's what makes block tests fun, in a sense (:

i didn't go for ndp training today, and i feel bad about it =( aiya why can't my flu just go away! it's been bothering me since the start of block tests, which initially made me very worried. haha!

funfair today! it was absolutely fun but DIRTY! haha it was fun to see people get dunked yeah but definitely not fun when you are the one getting dunked, and i'm so thankful that nobody dunked me! (: but i still got super dirty cos we were trying to make everyone as dirty as possible but there were still some erm LUCKY people hurhur, who didn't get dirty at all =.= got splashed with FOOD DYED WATER, FLOUR, WATER which is gross. some others who were dunked got it more badly, with EGGS. haha esp mabel who was dunked like, 2-3 times? haha! (: oh and when it was ms chia's turn to get dunked, we purposely added lots of food colouring and other stuff (like chrysanthnun!) haha and it was really fun to see ms chia get dunked! haha and all the 306ers were also crowding round to watch!

anyway, during the funfair i also went round the stalls to buy food with yijia, yeeting and szeling. ohh and the shepherd's pie is really nice! <3 but sadly after spending only $3 out of my $10, i was already super full :O so i donated the other $7 to class stall (:

oh and i realized that food colouring requires lots of effort to get it removed. and poor meihui! her face is like still stained with food dye! D;

oh and fashion rojak! was fun to watch too (: and ji lao shi won the teachers' contest! haha she looked cute in that japanese costume la haha! (:

overall, this funfair was more fun than i expected it to be, like, really! haha! (:

Received info from yijia that IH teacher (oops i still don't know how to spell her name!) is super strict. Overshoot word limit plus some other errors and you get 0. ohman we better suo our lit review so that it fits 2000 words perfectly (: or else... i do not wish to think of what's gonna happen.

anyway, on a brighter note, today was a very productive day compared to yesterday when I was practically sleeping the whole day away. today we managed to finish the following:

2. LA SIA script and ppt (yeah yeah! :D)
3. SMP report! (YEAH YAY =D)

hello! i realized it's 12.12am now on the 29th of June. Since I can't fall asleep, and the timing is such a wonderful time to remember, I shall post a post to commemorate this special 12.12am. HAHA! =D ok so here it goes.

ahaha ok let me do a quick update on what happened during the (wonderful) first week of school.
as usual, it has been pretty busy with lots of academic stuff, with all the SIAs dued and stuffs to rush out.
on friday, we had PLC workshop, and that sort us introduced us to the "real and hectic" side of guides. haha (: with all the planning, which means, more proposals to be done. actually, doing proposals can be quite fun you know, like after you finish with it, you 'll feel a sense of accomplishment. (: which is a really nice feeling haha (:

ok tmr (actually today since it's after 12 midnight already) is going to be pretty busy as well, meeting up with lingyi and xinyun to do IH Lit Review. WE SHALL BE FOCUSED AND FINISH IT UP BY TMR!! yes we will! haha! =)

ahh i suddenly have a craving for green tea! ahhh this feeling is horribe! i want green tea! D;

School's started and homework's piling up =( anyway, this semester we changed IH teacher and Chem teacher. hmmm i don't know if this is a good thing hah (: but the new teachers are nice! For IH, we changed from Mrs Tieh to Ms DVD (oops i realized i don't know how to spell her name!) haha and she's funny! with her SOY JOY and TOY. HAHA! =D For chem, we now have mr eric tan and he's like erm funny in a dumb way haha! but he's a rather good teacher too (:

back to what's been happening in school... we've been locked out for the whole of this week cos we were caught eating in class on the very first day of school. it seems that we are forever locked out huh =( ohwells, and the SIAs and truckloads of homework is really crazy D; ahhh.

and blocks are coming really soon! i have to really motivate and push myself to start studying and revising and not keep slacking the days away... ahhhh =(

hello! this week has been spent rushing and chiong-ing all the homework and SIAs and whatever other projects. haha so i must say it has been rather boring, cos it's like doing homework everyday, esp when i'm stuck with all the stuff i don't know how to do. =(

ok anw, let's see what happened this week in detail heh (:

monday, had meeting for BSP project. hmm quite productive i guess though we were very distracted by all the fascinating things at yijia's house-- like her BIG dog. haha =)

tuesday, stayed home to do homework. i was sooo proud of myself, cos i managed to accomplish quite alot that day. i finished the math pre-test ws, 10-yr series for functions, chinese compo, and 5 chem ws! yay =)

wednesday, went to the national library with xinyun to do research for IH SIA and IH assignment. spent the whole dat there. 11am to 5pm. and we spent $10 in total photocopying all the materials, this should tell you how productive our meeting was heh (:

thursday, stayed at home to chiong whatever homework. also did some revision.

friday, was also spent doing homework.

see what a sad life huh... =(

on a brighter note, tmr i'm going to take singapore flyer with my family (: should be quite interesting i think. (: though it's gonna be quite slow- moving cos the flyer supposedly moves very slowly.

hello! back from holiday in malaysia! well not really a holiday la, but just visiting relatives (: haha i brought my homework there, and i'm surprised i actually managed to accomplish something (: anw, this time we took the train there instead of driving there, and now i really appreciate the car more heh (: yay i'm so thankful we have a car! ok anw, we bought lots of stuff there (mainly shoes cos they were sooo cheap!) yay haha (: yep.

ooh and company outing last wednesday was fun! i love the ball games man especially captain's ball. and i must say our patrol is rather good at captain's ball! haha =D and spariole surprisingly managed to get the highest points among all the other buddy patrols whooo! =D the patrol picnic after that was mainly spent watching the others play some dunno what card games that i cannot ever seem to grasp how to actually play. so me meishan, jiachee and sweehoon(?) were just like stuffing food into out mouths while we watch the others play haha =D overall it was fun yay (:

hello! can't believe i'm like blogging at this unearthly hour ha (: anyways, back from BSP CAMP! whoo and it was fun yes like FUN and SLACK. =D ohman it's like the best camp i've ever attended so far in terms of slackness and comfort (: can you imagine 5 meals a day! oh and the dorms are so well furnished and so comfy! and big and spacious. and i shared room with fiona, shijie and xinyun! ahaha roomies! >< oh and we had WARM WATHER BATHS ahahaha are you jealous! =D ok anw, i was in grp 19 with cheryl, yangxi and regina from ny! they are all from 308 and are scholars wow. haha ok anw our grp name is xiao yao. and nick named faggot haha. and then our facil in the end became faggot. haha i think it means something bad heh like some kind of bad word. haha. i think initially we were all quite stone, but later it became quite ok (: and actually this grp is quite crazy la haha (: esp the dunman and ny peeps heeheee (: and during the wen yu wan hui, people got really crazy. and it was like really REALLY CRAZY. people were just like running about, dancing. and some facils were break dancing HAHA =D but too bad i was too short to actually see what was happening on the dance floor haha! but it was a really cool night and it was great fun =)

the only not so fun part were the lectures. we had 5 lectures in total. boring la. like hardly anyone was listening. then at the end of every session they will have some kind of question and answer, and discussion thingo. which is very scary, cos they'll like randomly pick a name from the namelist and ask you to share your views and stuff. ahaha and yangxi was like crossing her fingers all the time. haha she's so funny =)

oh and i can't believe shimei actually is obsessed with kaiqing cos she thinks kaiqing is pretty and cute! haha! =D ok not obsessed la, maybe chun cui xin shang only. haha =D oh and i'm not saying kaiqing is not pretty and cute, it's just that a girl liking another girl sort of thing sorts of amuses me haha (:

oh and just now groupies were crapping for hours. actually i only joined in their convo at the end la cos i was doing work before that. nd i was actually shocked at the massive overload of crapping from the convo haha!

to sum it up the camp was a blast. yep (: bombbombbomb. haha (:

hello here's an update! LTC was fun ohman! :D mainly cos it's mainly batchmates so it was quite nice erm? haha anyway, though it was tiring, it was still fun as ever (: YAY =D ok on the first day, it was just the pitching of tents and gadgets, icebreakers and packing. lingxin, suying, shiya and i did not build the tents and gadgets cos we had to go buy the rations HAHA and that was fun! carrying a full $400 to giant to buy groceries certainly felt scary and i felt very insecure. like what if some robber decides to just snatch my wallet away! the $400 will be gone with the wind. haha! ok anw when we were shopping for the groceries and piling our trolley with foodstuff, people were like staring at us and looking at our practically overflowing trolley haha like it was seriously crazy! and we were worrying if the $400 was enough for pay for all the stuff cos it was really alot alot of stuff. then after that we took taxi back to school (with the guides fund) cos we cannot possibly carry all the stuff on the bus la we will die. haha =D and that uncle was so mean! he started the meter even before we were on the taxi la! while we were loading all the stuff on the taxi, he already started, and by the time he started driving, it was already like $3.40 plus $1.15 surcharge la! =( anw, when we reached school germaine and her friend helped us carry the stuff back to the camp store, so nice of them (: then rushed to collect dinner from the mixed veg rice uncle. apparently he's called me like don't know how many times but i didn't answer haha (: then it was debrief from the gadget cca session. ohman it was the first time i saw xinyi like "flare up"? and it was scary. i think we really made her angry by being unrespectful and stuff by fidgeting and all. i think we really need to reflect heh. cos i think we take xinyi for granted cos she's always so nice and all but yeah we should give her the respect she deserves! <3 that was basically all for the first day.

2nd day was tiring =( we had wide game at botanic gardens, and our patrol took a super long time to get to the 1st station and that was with the help of sec 4s some more... haha =) but i think after that we were pretty ok with the other stations, though we didn't finish all the 12 stations. and it was also sweltering hot that day so i think most of us were affected by it and i don't think we were that enthuestic about it but anyways. oh oh and during the wide game, there was this somebody who kept calling suying, and suying thought it was some bangla person cos the person had a very low voice and so she just ignored all the calls. and later we found out that it was the local delight anunty who called to confirm some stuff. HAHA can't believe it! =D after that was lunch till 3. we were not allowed to go back to school before 3pm cos there was open house going on and they didn't want to let the visitors see a bunch of sweaty, tired students back from wide game i guess. haha =D after that was firelighting, and the debators in our patrol were quite enthuestic about it haha =D then it was pioneering. our first staion was eshelter and i was like shocked when amanda said we had to build an eshelter each in 5 mins i almost died ok. but in the end it was ok la, better than i expected myslef to do haha =D then swiss side window, ladder and then river crossing. after this was preparation for campfire and i helped to carry the stuff. =) then it was the campfire YAY and i think it was rather fun la haha =D xiaoen's patrol's skit/performance was nice! ;D the rest were nice too haha =D so after that we went to prepare supper while the rest of the campers went to bathe. then COH. i was like so tired i felt like sleeping but i managed to keep myslef awake, somehow. =) after that we finally got the bathe wow i felt so good la after the bath =D then lights off!

day 3 was basically just packing up/area cleaning. and we finished quite early cos ours was the kitchen haha! =D so we went help other patrols. then at 11am we had debrief and reflections. then we gave out the remaining rations. but nobody wanted the loaves of bread. then lingxin and i were like arguing who should bring them home. very funny haha! =D oh and there were some extra pairs of wooden chopsticks too and lingxin brought them home in the end. haha lingxin i know you loved the chopsticks! since you carried the ovaltine down from the kitchen for all the breakfast and suppers etc, you might as well hao ren zuo dao di and bring home the chopsticks right! HAHA! =D then after that we went home and xiaoen showed us this cute bird nest with cute little birdies outside the dance studio! so cute la! =D

oh and now i miss LTC cos it was really fun and i think it was rather succesful! =D YAY!

and today we checked CA1 marks. it was lousy. i better work harder during the june hols! and sabbaticals were rather fun today (:

and next tuesday i'd be going for BSP camp and it sounds fun! the only not so fun thing is that we have to speak chinese throughout the camp =( haha and today on the way home lingxin was like practicing speaking chinese but i think she gave up halfway haha! =D

hello! today is saturday and i've just finished my piano lesson and i'm feeling bored :O anw, yesterday's cca session was fun YAY! =D cos it was all station games and all the fun fun stuff (: maybe just with the tinee weenee exception of the e-shelter heh (: our first station was the scavenger hunt. we had to look for items that start with the letters of the words that we were given. and it's like so hard la oriole almost died during that station cos we seriously can't think of anything creative la! ohman we are lousy. haha but we're good at other things heh! (: ok next station was the human arrangement station. quite fun la that one. we were all not supposed to talk except the sec 2s, then we were supposed to arrange ourselves in whatever categories they gave us, like skin colour, height, birthdays, class etc haha! :D then then was e-shelter. which was, wah, lousy. haha ours was so saggy and all but aiya it's ok! we'll improve next time yeah =D then then was charades which was to me, the funnest and the funniest! haha it's seriously fun la and we had clever ppl guessing in out team (: and the words they gave us are really hard like, avril lavigne? mayday? chronicles of narnia? haha!and the ICs said we were high and enthu which was good! yay (: then after that was patrol corner where we discussed our gadget thing. jiayou meiqi and weishan! hehe (: after that was LTC meeting/briefing. LTC is this coming friday la so fast! (: i'm excited! oh and i got into stained glass art and I&E for sabbaticals, quite ok la heh (:

hello! just came back from CSM so i'm super tired (not that i took part in the competitions though), haha! =D anw, today we had guides duty then i was also supposed to sell our LA notebooks. ahh and sales were terible but thankyou anyone who bought them!! =D i think the price scared off many people. but the notebook is really worth the price lor it's good quality one (: hee =D anw, guides duty was erm ok la... my shift was the first one, at 7.30am to 8.30am. I was supposed to stand in front of the clock tower with huiyan, directing traffic and taking down names of those ppl who leave the area. i don't think the taking down of their names when they go toilet really helps haha =D some of them even forsake their ezlink cards, so will taking down their names help, i don't know heh... anw, afterthat, we went around serving drinks to teachers/student officials/competitors/VIPs. Then after that we went around zou zou. the 306 group selling helium balloons had really good business and i was actually honestly quite surprised, no offence! =) anw, after that i got really bored, then started helping to persuade ppl to buy our notebooks, since only wangqian and yeeting were the only ones selling. soon i got tired, then saw yijia who was eating ice-cream, so i went to buy one too (: haha then still felt quite hungry and thirsty, so went with yijia to buy strawberry milk tea hehe nice =D and alot of ppl koped from me... heh meishan... after the event ended, we went around picking rubbish- there was really mountain piles of rubbish generated. and the worse thing is that they don't clear up after them which is quite ridiculous considering the fact that they have already reached an age where they should be able to be responsible for their stuff! haha i feel like an old granny ranting haha! =D anw after that i went with rachel back to school to hand up her math AMES then we took 171 to somerset to collect the eep badges for batchmates =D on the bus we saw amanda and anning =D and anning is nice =) oh and 171 missed 2 bus stops, thus making me and rachel walk a long long way to the eec to collect the badges. plus i had to carry 25 copies of notebook in a plastic bag which is practically giving way. haha! and i realized rachel really loves doreamon!(correct spelling?)HAHA =) so after collecting the badges, we took mrt back together. rachel has to go for her 3rd lang, so she alighted at bishan, leaving me to take the mrt all alone for 40 mins D: haha but i think i was napping throughout the journey cos i was really tired.

and tmr is labour day yay so no school! but there'll be homework and stuffs to do as usual sighs...

hello! just now i went to xinyun's house to do our CME presentation, only then that we realized that there will not be CME next week due to CSM. haha owells but i'm glad we managed to finish it and then it's over for now YAY! =D so anw, i met selina at bishan mrt station at 7.50am then we went to xinyun's house first cos lingyi and shijie were going to be late. then in the end we waited at the void deck of xinyun's house until 9am when lingyi and shijie arrived. and shijie was playing with some lighter that only gave out sparks. HA weird person heh. and selina was commenting abt shijie looking like some person who sniffs glu/drugs or whatever hahah! =D so later xinyun brought us up to her house. and her maid was serving us all kinds of food like egg tarts, ice lemon tea, grapes, and even bought chips for us! so nice la! =D and we felt so guilty for messing up her room! sorry xinyun! anw, i'm sohappy that meeting was very productive, though we were slacking, watching videos, viewing pictures, checking email, listening music etc, in the end we managed to finish what we wanted to do YAY! =D when it was like 12 plus, xinyun was perpertually pestering us about what we want for lunch haha! but we felt bad if xinyun is going to pay for us, so we hurry hurry finish up what we were doing then went to j8 to eat macs (: haha sory xinyun! we did it for your own good (: anw, after that went to eat macs with lingyi and shijie, and i wasted 1 whole packet of fries. cos i stupidly forgot there was something called student's meal HAH! =D and i found out shijie is really "dark" heh and her life is sad =( haha jk no la her life is erm special haha (: yup yup and now i'm home, trying to do my homework like maths raft and chinese du shu bao gao and 9.1. hmm ok i shall end here now! =D

so last Thursday we went to ACRES to conduct interview for our LA SIA after school. took taxi there and luckily the taxi driver didn't chase us out cos we had 5 people. i rmb when we were in sec 1, there was once we bus to MOELC was very late, then 5 of us wanted to take taxi to the MOELC. the taxi driver didn't allow all 5 up the taxi cos actually it's against the laws, then in the end we split up haha and i took another taxi to the center with caoyun! haha! =D anyway, the ACRES rescue center was at some ulu place, beside qian hu fish farm, and it looked very dilapidated from the outside. we wondered whether we were at the correct place cos the place was locked up. haha then xinyun called the person in charge and they said they were coming soon. luckily ha! =D anw, the interview was quite good i guess. it lasted for about 1/2 hour. then we went to tour the area. it was nice lor haha, as in for the animals. it's currently still under renovation, not opened yet, but there were a few dogs roaming around which made me VERY SCARED. haha it was seriously very scary heh being the 'very afraid of dogs' person that i am. haha blame it on the dog who chased after me when i was young, making me so afraid of dogs now haha. and the incident is still etched very vividly in my mind. =( anw, the rescue centre sounds cool, cos there're alot of facilities there for the animals. there's also a learning centre (: and the 'enclosures' meant for the animals are nice too (: qiuru said she would love to be an animal there. haha! =D then after taking some pictures and all, we waited for our taxi to come. during that time i was stuck on a chair. cos the rest of them--- yeeting, xinyun, qiuru and wangqian, were playing with the 2 dogs, one is called sunshine and the other is, erm erm henny or henry or something la i can't rmb haha! they were cute la but i still didn't dare to go near them =O then when sunshine crawled under yeeting's skirt while looking for henny or henry, she was like so calm. ohman if it was me, i would have screamed please! haha! =D and qiuru was practically cuddling the dogs HAHA =D ahha anw soon the taxi came, then wangqian, qiuru and i dropped off at lot 1 while xinyun and yeeting took it to bishan. thankyou xinyun for paying for the ride! =D anyway, after that we went to eat something then went home by mrt. then at night was rushing out LTC proposal + bio AS. haha so happy i managed to finish (:

then yesterday was outdoor cooking(stipulated). We cooked veg curry(without coconut milk, and i just realized it when shiya told me) haha! anw, I was in food prep together with shiya, meishann, weiqi and felicia (: shiya was really pro lor she knows all abt coooking, like what don't add water first if not very difficult for the food to cook. the water will boil and the ingredients will still not be cooked yet, so cannot add water until the end. see! so she's the master chef (: haha! =D anw, in the end our curry veg was erm erm ok la, still edible haha (:

next week will be rather slack, cos next wed is CSM and thurs is holiday (: oh and btw we will be selling notebooks during CSM so must buy! oh and i have guides duty on CSM serving drinks too. then after that i'll be going with rachel to somerset to collect the eep course badges for the sec 3s (:

oh and yesterday i was reminiscing about the 'past' with joline on msn. we were like old grannies haha! and she realized that now nobody helps her do all the work in projects heh! aww joline <33 nevermind you shall be the one! haha! :D

hello! yesterday was flag day! it was rather fun (: yay(: left home at about 9am for fear that I will not be able to find the place... then in the end i reached there at about 10.30am, which is half an hour before the thing starts. and the place turns out to be right outside the mrt station. as in really RIGHT outside. haha ok anyway, when i reached there, only kaiqing and xinyun were there, so we waited for the rest to arrive. and realized that our class wasn't the only class doing flag day. and there were many other schools too... so it's like wherever you go, you'll see somebody selling flags for the same organization too. haha! anyway i went with yijia, shiya, xinyun and yee ting to sell flags. and xinyun saw her friend's mother and she gave her $10!!! D: we were all jealous esp yijia haha! =D anw, then we decided to take mrt to doby ghaut(plaza singapura there) to sell flags... but response wasn't that good, then after lunch, we went to somerset to try our luck. saw siming whose can was like almost full please. she has been there since the start. so we hurry hurry and i manged to get a little more than half of the can filled by 3.30pm. (: haha it isn't considered very good la, but then again, it's the effort that counts, and i know that i've tried my best. if people don't want to donate, i can't do anything right? yup so by the end of the whole session, my legs were already on the verge of breaking haha! plus the 30+ min train ride home STANDING as there were no seats... my legs really hurt by the time i reach home. but nonetheless, it was a fun and meaningful experience heh!

oh and now we have lots of proposals to do for guides. heritage trail D: and LTC proposals! jiayou! i believe we can do it yay! =D

hello!(: long time no post. cos got nothing much to post actually. hmm let me think of what to say... i know this post would be super crappy la but nevermind! SIAs are pouring in and we haven't really started on chinese. and mrs tieh hasn't told us about IH SIA and our LA SIA proposal for fund raising is due SOON.and we need designs sigh... :( it's just been busy these few weeks with lots of stuff. let me think of the homework we have... math ws 8.1, which i have no idea how to do!, AMES (actually i'm finished with the 3 qns but i'm trying to finish up all so that i won't have to rush in the end), chinese SIA( we really seriously need to get started), IH essay qn thing. ahhh. ok enough of these depressing stuff huh.

YAY campfire is coming soon and i think it would be fun! actually quite looking forward to it. it's next friday (: haha! and cca this week seems quite fun! cos it's just like patrol corner, team building games which are FUN! =D or at least to me haha! oh and congrats to camp galore team for getting in! YAY i knew you all can make it (: heehee =D

hello! block tests are over! and now is the scary yet exciting part of getting back our papers. have gotten back our chinese, maths and bio papers, and i think they were not as well done as I wanted to =( well there'll always be room for improvements (: and this is only a block test which comprises 6% of our overall so i shouldn't be too upset about this as there'll be another 94% (: YAY i feel better now haha (:

well now that the tests are over, it's time for SIAs! must really start on our chinese SIA already and LA SIA too!

i know i have lots of stuff to do now but i don't feel like doing them. like i'm suppossed to read zang ao and do a book review but but but sighs, it's like so difficult to read la! now i'm waiting for 11.30am so that i can go do library service with yuhe and now i'm feeling bored :O

and random too. i want to change blogskin, i promised myself that i'll change after blocktests. i love eating yam pao (: and i love eating maggimee though i know its very VERY unhealthy. so now i'm drinking goat's milk which taste and smells a little weird but never mind. ok enough of this randomness, i shall go find a nice blogskin.

cca yesterday! first proper cca with the sec 1s! =D we did gadgets and turfing+ firelighting. june microwaved her punks to make them crisp and i think that's so clever can! =DD ok anw anw cca was quite fun la and the sec 1s learn fast YAY (: jiayou oriole!! <33 they were quite enthu too i guess haha =D but yesterday weimei and shanqi did not come lor, leaving us to demo all the stuff since sec 4s were not really supossed to help! =( haha but it was still super fun overall la whee~ =D

then today suying and i brought jiachee to buy guide u! suying was super late and then left me and jiachee there to wait for her... then got some church ppl came and ask me do some survey thingo, the qns werer WEIRD. haha =D anw it was raining heavily and i got super wet, cos i didn't bring umbrella and was sharing with suying! heehee was super cold after that cos we went to J8 to accompany suying eat her BELOVED KFC. HAHA. jiachee came with us too! cos we promised to give her free tuition on guide stuff haha! but in the end, she herself read the stuff from the guide book haha =D and oh we couldn't find space in KFC or MAC to eat, so we went coffee bean to eat haha, hoping that the person over there will not notice, but we were still asked to leave after a while la, cos i think they need the space. HAHA and suying seriously eats super slowly! (not that i eat much faster la) but aiya... after that we took the super long train ride home together (: and now outside it's still raining! D: and i'm feeling so cold.

tmr still got eec thing and i need to study for the test! D: and block tests too! D: oh man ohman. i'm planning to finish bio, chem and math this week. if got time then a little physics. the rest i'll do next weekend. (: yay. jiayou! =D

hello yesterday i was feeling so cold and sick and feverish, but now i'm glad to announce i'm alright once again! YAY! i'm so happy!!! yesterday i was so worried i would be sick for the whole holidays!! D: but now, phew! haha ok OBS was FUN FUN FUN. and now i knid of miss it, though during OBS I was like counting down to day 5 and when we can go home. aww. ok anyways.

DAY 1!!
we arrived. my watch's magellan. you know sometimes i still have difficulty pronuncing this name! it's like so dificult. i sometimes can't spell it too. :O and our instructor is cicak man cos he looks like the man in the lizard man show HAHA. anw, after that we settled some admin stuff, then cleared store, clean stuff, settled IC stuff. hahahaha i'm the store IC heh. then had to count the equipments and all. at first thought it was quite boring. after lunch we learnt kayaking. yay fun! did with yijia my kayaking partner! YAY capsize! it was scary at first but after that it was ok la haha and the rescue thing was cool too! we did with yuzhen and lingyi!!! =DD after that had dinner. sally and some others cooked haha i was too cold to move... heehee (: so i just waited for my food. after that we bathed in super cold water, which made me feel even colder. ahh. after that was tent- pitching. our instructor cicak asked claire, marsha and I to help demo hahaha! and our instructor said we can finish pitching a tent in 15 mins and i was like, wow really! D: anw, halfway through there was some fire drill thing. ahh so late at night. after that we finished up our tent and went to sleep. yay tent-maties yuzhen, selina and shijie! =DD it felt so comfortable with only 4 people unlike guides camp with 6 people. haha. =D

DAY 2
oh in the morning we trekked from camp 2 to camp 1. 35 mins trek with a 20kg backpack on. still ok la. the 3 of us guides were navigators ahha got to practice and revise my topo. skills though the testwork is over already la but nvm. managed to reach there without getting lost YAY erhmm but still got some help from our instructor la. camp 1 was like so nice and xian jin compared to camp 2, it's like a chalet and looked little like HCI lor hahaha. that gan jue you know. hahaha =DD over there we learnt climbing, and belaying. it was quite fun la the first part. but that part when we had to climb snake and laddar was scary and tiring. I could feel my whole body shaking lor but i'm still very happy i managed to reach the top so YAY. =D oh and i almost forgot! we did trustfall! i wasn't very scared la, but i think i did not fall back properly lor. so lousy unlike claire and marsha and some others who fell back like so straightly. hmmph. haha anw, it was the first night we got to eat full meal. YAY it was like so nan de and everybody was eating so much. kaiqing and simin even asked me to help them get more rice haha =D and after that we had some briefing for the next day, pitched our tents and fell asleep.

DAY 3
trekking for don't know how many hours la, this time it was really tiring. i think i'd have shrunk even more after this trek. D: i don't want!! and cicak didn't allow us to rest too much as we trekked there. it's like everybody's back breaking already, and he still didn't want to let us rest (at the last part la). and in the end we ended up the first watch there and had to wait for the other 3 watches. and in the meantime, cicak made us carry stuff for our next activity. it's like my back breaking already and still must carry more heavy stuff! D: anw, soon after it was raining very heavily. we had to build rafts using super big pipes and barrels and it was really hard tying the knots. D: and in the rain somemore. can you immagine it! it was so cold that even a sip of milo can do wonders! awww i really miss my milo!! =DD and in the end we did not get to launch our rafts cos it was unsafe and mostly incomplete la. so after untying the knots and keeping all the stuff, we had a 304 gathering and played games and cheered in the rain, and amazingly, the rain stopped. the instructors siad our cheers and ehthu-ness moved the gods. HAHA =D anw, after that was briefing for the next day, then we went back to campsite to pitch our tents while some others cooked. It was horrible luh we did not get to bathe and there wasn't even a proper toilet. we had to do our business behind ponchos, and we were wondering, what if someone comes round from the back! ohman that'll be embarrassing luh. haha anw we had to pitch tents with rocks instead of pegs and there was a mad rush and craze for rocks to hold our tents down. oh and suddenly shijie had an asthma attack because it was too cold i guess, ohman it was really scary. luckily she was ok soon after. that night we slept in "water-beds" like what cicak had said. and we crapped alot among our tent and kaiqing's tent. and selina's imagination is like really fertile man. and she was like super high in the tent while yuzhen and I were shivering like crazy. HAHA. woke up at 2 plus for sentry duty. WOW FREEZING COLD. can't wait to get into tent where there's warmth. i was like so happy when our duty was over. quickly went back to tent and tried to sleep, though it was super noisy with the clubs at malaysia blasting some funny music.

DAY 4
We had our sea expedition! it was raining with lighting cat. 1, so our expedition was delayed. and we had to move the kayaks up and down the human chain for 3 times in whole cos of the rain la. and later we had to go by the shorter way cos we can't possibly paddle in the dark. well, it was rahter tiring but still fun i guess! with yijia as my kayaking partner! could tell she was like very tired and I kept on encouraging her on so YAY I was glad when we finally saw shore at camp site 2! six gruelling hours! WOW i survived. hee (: after that washed the kayaks and kept them back on the racks. By then i was like, wah i cannot already i cannot already, cos my legs were so going to break! D: and then after that we had to cook dinner (note: we still have NOT bathed) i was feeling so dirty and disgusted with mnyself la. and it was so cold some more. AHH. anw, the food were not really cooked, everything's raw, esp the rice =O when it was finally time to bathe i was so glad. like finally! a shower!!! :D maybe that's my highest point? HAHA. no la. and i realized something. that i actually bathe quite fast heh! YAY! =D anw, after that sally, selina, charlotte, lingyi and I went wash lifejackets and ponchos. The stuff in the lifejackets were REALLY GROSS omg!! like half eaten, soaked granola bars? soggy oranges! ohmy it was really gross haha. after that we went to sleep in our tents for the last night. yuzhen, selina and I were talking till don't know what time then we slept. and yuzhen and I ate apollo in the tent and we managed to tempt selina heh HAHA!

DAY 5
Unpitched tents, packed stores and all, did lots of washing up and reflections. we also played our final activity, the reaching out for the bell thing. and we concluded short ppl can't reach it. =(
overall looking back, it was a really fun experience. and watchmates were fun and nice too! thankyou yuzhen yijia shijie selina charlotte kim lydia lingyi siming claire marsha jen sally huimay elsa MAGELLAN (oops i dn't know whether it's spelt correctly!) and cicak man! YAY! =D

and now back to reality. got to start studying for block tests! AHHH i seriously need help! and my timetable for the hols are so packed too! D:

wednesday: bring sec 1s go buy guide u?
thursday: EEP course again, chinese tuition

hello! thinking day parade was quite ok i guess (: everyone tried their best! (: YAY V- BOM!!! haha anws anws, next week is OBS!! today we received our camp tee! dark blue wit white strips at the side haha. ok anw i'm excited about OBS!! i think it's going to be FUN! i'm in watch 20, with 5 people I don't know haha and we have 3 guides! whoopee me marsha and claire!!! heehehee =DDD YAY YAY YAY i don't know why but i'm like very happy and high now. whee~!!@! okok calm down... today had cca, testwork session! i just hope i'll pass ohman ohman *cross fingers, cross fingers, please let me pass!!!* i think my flag etiquette and topo map theory were terrible, the pracs were rather ok (: i just really really hope i'll pass, even if it's like JUST pass, i don't mind!! =D

oh and back to OBS, i haven't started packing yet, and i have 2 days to do so. I don't even have like 5 long sleeve shirts and 5 long pants like who in the world will have right?! O: ok got to go buy. wells wells i hate packing for camps it's so troublesome!!! D:

oh and after OBS we have to write an essay about the highest point or lowest point during the whole OBS thing huh haha ok wells. (:

HELLO! THINKING DAY TMR!!! D: whoo YAY i really really hope it'll go super smoothly like last year!! solid bangs and all (: after all, the FCs have put in alot of effort for this parade, and we have trained hard too (: though the last training our performance wasn't as good as we were supposed to be, i believe that we can do it tmr! so YAY! i just hope i don't make any uniform errors tmr and i then i can't march cos that'll be so sad :(

ohwells, anw, IH seminar is crazy la. aiyo we thought we were supposed to present today, and then we were like doing last minute rush work, but only to find out we are only presenting next monday. but that isn't that far away either :( anw, today's IH group was good! (yuzhen, peishan,yijia,szeling,jieshin) (: hope we can do it too! YAY! =D

hello people! now my table is full of sweets and chocolates from v. day! thankyou june, xinyun, peishan, ms chia!, huiyan, sarah and any others for the sweets and choclates yay =) oh and yesterday we had footdrill! yay squad 3 <33 first time we really marched and i think it was quite good can =) and now its cut down to 9 people instead of 12... owells owells. we have to jiayou and keep up the good work! =DD haha and after cca i accidentally took rachel's beret home! ohno sorry rachel, haha! =D and i didn't realize until like today morning when she sms-ed me to ask wheher i saw her beret! hahaha and when i saw 2 berets in my bag, i was like so shocked. D: and i could immediately recognize which was mine, not because there's names written whatsoever, but cos the inside of my beret was like so brown, haven't washed for a long time, whereas rachel's was so clean and white. and now i've sent my beret for washing =) and thinkning day is next friday, we are left with only 1 more cca session! yay hope it will be a success like last year's! =DD solid bangs and all =) yay. and i happy cos i've almost finished all my homework!! left with the bsp thing which i have no idea how to do!!! D: and i have to finish it by tonight then send to yijia to edit! help help!! D: and when i asked wang qian how to do, she took out her piece and showed me, and i totally didn't know what she was writng about. don't misunderstand, it was too good for my understanding, ohman i seroiusly need help. =( what ya pian zhan zheng thing. hmmph.

oh and yes i've finished my LA speech on thurs, i think it was bad, aiya but nvm it's over and i'm relieved. (:

now 15 mins to my piano lesson, i'm waiting for my turn. lalala~ i've finished my circle properties written assignment as well as ws 6.1, without the challenging problems though, so YAY! =D ahh i'm bored i'm bored. i suddenly feel like eating kueh tutu ohman that's so random!! ok i shall go play some games first hehe =D ok bye! =D

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!! =DD anw i'm currently writing my LA speech. ohman i'm so slow!! ok anyway anyways... chinese new year in singapore is FUN! YAY! =D on the first day all my uncles and aunts came over to our house for lunch before we set off to grandaunt's house where everybody would gather, then we talked and gambled and ate and ate, i think i'm getting fatter from all those goodies! D: and gambling was fun (p.s. i only gamble during cny in singapore ok...) haha though i lost alot of money. we played some guess the animal thing. there were 3 dices then the faces contained pictures of animals. we were then suppossed to guess which animals will come out when we throw the disces. stayed there till about 8 plus, after shou zu ended. then went home. GOT LOADS OF ANG POWS hehe =) on 2nd day, nothing much in the morning, so did my homework. managed to finish most of it, except of LA speech and i feel accomplished =) anw, in the evening went to another grandaunt's house for dinner. yummy yummy. again gambled. wah i feel like a habitual gambler as I've been gambling for all 3 days of cny so far D: okok anw, watched tv, shou zu last episode! haha everything was sort of expected la. and got more ang pows! whee~ =D today 3rd day, all the grandaunts and granuncles came our house as they wanted to see our new house. had lunch and again, GAMBLED. wah wah wayh. and i won loads of money!! =D YAYAers! haha anw overall it has been a wonderful 3 days of chinese new year! and i'm enjoying it! okok people gtg do homework (so sao xing right!!) so toodles! =D

hello! last day of the month! wah time flies! already 1 month spent in 304! can't believe, so fast ah! hmm hmm... ok...owells, i changed my blogskin! and i think this one's very nice! and it's not navi! haha.. =D anyway, haven't done my bio AS 3.1 yet! dued tmr! i don't klnow how to do, not i don't want ok!! =( okok anw, tmr i decided i'll be going for cca! although there'll be some smp talk at science centre, but yuhe says no need to go, ok no need to go! YAY! i want to go for cca lor, missed 2 sessions already, i missed the sec 1 orientation and that's so sad.

ok anw, smp smp, hmm it's been quite fun, since the mentor is quite a nice person. he gives us chinese history and cultural lessons everytime we go there for meeting. it's like when waiting for the PCR to be carried out, we would go down to the canteen to eat somethings, then he'd start with his chinese history lessons. and he can't read and write chinese (but he can speak la)! yet he knows so much abt chinese history and stuff. which is like so amazing right! =) haha! anw, smp's just been fun. full stop. heehee =D

and i'll be going for library service again this sat. with yuhe, since zitian has smp haha =D hope i won't start having blurring visions and notions of fainting again! heehee =D and i got to borrow some chinese books for SIA thing already! or if not then it'd be like yesterday, last minbute rush, and i must thank yuhe hor.. =D hahah =D YAY. ok.

oh and cny is next week! i'm so excited! YAY. don't know whether we'll be going back to sv this year eh... see whether others go back or not la, or if not also no point going lor.

oh and abt the bf performance thing, it was good i guess =D and fun! and i don't think i made a wrong choice heeding my parents' advice to join the performance. haha! =D

hello people haven't been on this for DAYS. ok, school's been busy as usual, but still manageable hee (: we had footdrill on friday! but i think we deproved lor. :( nvm jiayou nygg! and we also combined squads! when we were all in 1 line and shouting "satu, dua, satu, dua", i thought it was so cool!! and then we had to start again and again cos it somehow got cut off in the middle, and i was wondering when it was going to get to me.. haha (: then when we finally got it right to the end, I heard zihui WAH very loudly. haha =) anyway, i'm in squad 3, the squad that will be coming from the middle. hee special eh (:

oh and yesterday went for BF rehearsal thing. super slack. cos it was nick shen and the other actors/actresses acting. i was doing my homework for almost the whole time!! the "ai lian shuo" thing! HAHA! =D anyway, hope the performance will be great! i think it would be fantabulous! =D whee~

and now i'm watching tv, though i'm not really done with my CME speech. ohwells. ohwells.

wed, thurs... also can't!!
friday... ok. we had class breakfast in the morning, pccg. ms chia thought class breakfast was just going to the canteen and buy food and eat together, so we didn't plan at all! haha so ms chia bought us jelly! YAY~ but we're also going to have another class breakfast next week, the planned and bring food one. (: the proper one. after that were lessons. lessons. then SIL. some talk on switzerland. and during the quiz section, 304 was like rushing to answer all the qns! SO COOL! =D whee~ after that was maths i think, got quiz. then bio. then cca! =)

ok that's my week for you. (ps. sorry i got lousy memory la. i really can't rmb what happened mon-thurs) haha! =D

hello! blog has been really dead these few days, due to my cut- down blogging, and also less people tagging. so sad!!! :( owells, i'm actually sacrificing my sleeping hours to blog ok! though i have to wake up real early tmr too, considering the fact that it's a sunday tmr, and i should be sleeping in to catch up on lost sleep during the week. anw, sec 3 has been busy, busy and busy. it's only like the 2nd week of school, and all the SIAs and stuff are pouring in like crazy. but i'm trying to manage my time better, so i won't feel so stressed. okok anw, class has been pretty much ok except from the workload. our class has this funny trapezium shaped sitting arrangement, and i'm sort of sitting in front. on my left, is simin, a chinese dancer, she's pretty nice i guess. and beside her is kaiqing. she's really smart. really. esp math. haha =D anw, on my right is lingyi, a prc scholar. she's also really really smart! and that scares me. they will be like having an electronic dictionary with them all the time, and will be constantly be checking the meaning of words. they are really really hardworking. sighs sighs sighs!!!

oh and thinking day is like 1 month away! according to an ning, there'll be 6 more footdrill sessions before the actual parade. jiayou everyone! we can do it! =D YAY! i think i'm starting to love footdrill more now! whee and that's GOOD! and i realized hantaking really helps you develop thigh/leg muscles! ok so random. haha!

and today i did library CIP at bukit panjang library! with zitian and yuhe! it was our very first session. and i never knew straightening books can be so tiring! it's like after 1 hour plus, i start to feel very hungry, and my eyes become blurry. i really pity all those librarians eh. i was telling myself, as i was doing the library service, next time, must appreciate the library and the librarians more, cos it really takes alot of effort to maintain the library in good shape. i spent 3 hours there and straightened 12 rows of book shelves. and that's like 1/10 of the entire library? and i'm only doing straightening, not even shelf-reading ok! ohman the librarians are really poor things. anw, after cip, went to eat lunch with zitian and yuhe at macs. and i realized how much zitian loves ketchups. WOW. and we were also comparing how dileen and melissa treat their younger sisters. haha dileen, there's a great difference. heehee (: after lunch, waited for my mother there as we went grocery shopping, and i bought my stationary and stuff. and my sister bought a big piglet soft-toy which costs $30, from minitoons. we really spent alot of money today. like close to $300? WOW amazing.

ok i just realized that it's almost 1am already, i better better go and sleep now! ahh tmr would be filled with hw again!! =(

hello! haven't been blogging for quite a while since school opened. today's the 4th day of school! and basically i felt that 304 was better than i expected. it's a rather fun class i think! and our form teacher is ms chia, she's a new teacher. she is fun! and nice (: yay and school's been rather fun, basically because of the teachers and classmates la, definitely not the lessons. and school's been busy too. i know these 2 words fun and busy don't really go together, but i don't know... irony. busy with homework and cca stuff these few days. ahh and now i still have to go do my IH and bio and LA hw. =( and tmr there's FOOTDRILL. D: ohman hope i don't screw up by forgetting all the commands! jiayou everyone! oh and for cca orientation, only a pathetic 36 people signed up for guides! ohman!! BUT nvm, must be more positive, guiding is fun!! =D yay!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!! school's starting tmr i can't believe it! i'm feeling very very excited and nervous!! OHMAN! i can't wait to see how my new class would be like, and how sec 3 life would be like! it'll definitely be more hectic, but i don't know why, i have this feeling that it'll be a rather good year ahead! hope that i won't be wrong! =D ahh tmr i'll be walking into a completely differnt classroom, with no more familiar faces, practically everyone's a stranger to me! ahh just hope that i'll be able to warm up quickly!

and and i'm so thankful my father is recovering fast i guess! YAY =D he's now transfered back to the normal ward instead of the high dependency one! and the room looks like a hotel room, got tv and all, very well furnished! haha!

okok i shall go get ready for school tmr! and watch tv! bb! =)
